What we collect
- Email, name, ZIP, optional phone, supplied during registration.
- Activity on the site (pages viewed, models tracked, dealers clicked).
- Sweepstakes entries (name, email, ZIP, age attestation, timestamp, IP hash).
How we use it
- Sending alerts for boats you have asked us to watch.
- Connecting you with dealers you have asked to contact.
- Operating the site, preventing fraud, and complying with law.
Who we share with
- Partner dealers that you contact via BoatFinder. Only your registration info plus the model you expressed interest in.
- Email infrastructure (Resend), captcha (Cloudflare), error tracking (Sentry), analytics (Plausible, no cookies). These vendors process data on our behalf.
- With your explicit opt-in: advertising partners (Meta, Google) receive a one-way SHA-256 hash of your email, never plain-text. Per CCPA, this is a "sharing" event you can opt out of at any time.
Your rights
You can request a data export or deletion at our data-request page. We respond within 30 days per GDPR and CCPA.
